Does your day include much sitting?

Time and gravity can really pull the head forward and down.  Shoulders hunch inward, and the constant bearing of the head’s weight can cause upper back strain and tension in the neck. 

This week we’ll emphasize moving the spine in ways that counterbalance the effects of time and inattention.  If you’ve experienced backaches due to muscle strain, this week of classes is designed to give you ways to bring space into the back and mindfulness to the ways we carry our bodies in space.  

You’ll enjoy greater muscle tone as a nice side effect of all this mindful movement, too!
