Just For Fun

"No one likes to be told how to live their life."  I've often overheard this comment in reference to the abundance of unsolicited advice to which we're exposed.

There is a balance, however, between outright refusal to consider new ideas and blind acceptance.  It's easier to find this balance point when we've done the work to know ourselves, shining the light of awareness on our conditioned responses, values, and patterns of behavior.

Maybe you'll consider these practices with an attitude of curiosity and a heart of compassion for those who come after us; those who will seek the fulfillment of our same human desires for health, safety, beauty, and authenticity; those who will live with the consequences of our choices today.

Everyone likes a sturdy fork.

I dare say. It's possible to find stainless flatware for around $20-$30 for 12 place settings, and can be used for decades. How many times can you buy new plastic utensils before you've spent way more than your investment in stainless? You'll save a lot of money.... and a sturdy fork makes your guests feel good.
